First and foremost thing ! This review will be awfully biased! Love you selvaraghavan! If you don't like my review then , it's good . The film opens with a scene with Bala Singh being rescued from a gutter! Bala Singh gets out of the filth with the help of surya . Later, Surya goes up and comes out of the gutter, standing up top with a MGR poster behind him! Such a poetic justice. Defines how good a movie maker Selva is! We often forget how good an actor Surya is ! He Is a delight to watch in long shots! It will be good to say that he has ACTED after a really long time. Who shines here in acting? 1. Surya 2. The seconds that I have spent with you, Defined my life for eternity, Seconds that were joyful, Seconds that were painful. Without these seconds , I would have lost my path, Lost my faith, Lost the reason to live, Seconds that fill my eyes , Albiet feelings, Seconds that defines me, Not even death does part!.

Before starting the review ,  I would like to say that I literally went to the film with very little expectations. Bang!the film surprised me! The film started at a slow pace. In the beginning I wondered why  Ajith Kumar settled for the fourth time with Siva . I also had a preset mindset that at least this film will be better than the previous one . I have to say that Siva has studied his strengths and weaknesses pretty well. He seems to be comfortable in Village based genre. Ajith is a "Jeevan" who lives and breathes just for his fans! The man's introduction is good .The screen presence of this man is just massive, amazing and beyond words . I have to say , the man looks better in silver hair than black. From the second the name THOOKKU DURA was mentioned the fans became restless . The film kept shifting back and forth from Present to past . The film starts with what you would typically like to see in a Rajni film! This is straight away a film made by a Rajni fan to a Rajni fan! Most of the reviews you see online are true! This is infact a love letter from Karthik subbaraj To Rajni! I really enjoyed the first half! In the first half Rajni is everything and Rajni does everything you expect ! Even though Munishkanth ramadoss , is there Rajni does the comedy. In some places he seems like the hero, in some places he does seem like the villain. Then Rajni is the ultimate Mass king, there is no denying that fact. Literally, DOP makes the film lit, hats off for that. It is such an interesting colour gamut to watch. Even before the plot is being set by the first half , the Film will certainly satisfy Diehard Rajni fans!
